Pikes Peak Gun Club offers Trap Shooting in many forms: ATA sanctioned competitions several times a year, local Summer and Winter Trap Leagues, and for practice and training at any time.

ATA sanctioned shoot schedules are available at the club house and are an individual competition. Summer League commences the first Wednesday evening in June. Winter League starts the first Sunday in January. Both leagues run for 10 weeks.

Leagues are a 5 person team event shooting single targets from a handicap yardage. Leagues offer an opportunity to form up your own team with family members, friends or colleagues. If you wish not to form a team or only have a partial team, sign up at the club house and you can be matched with other individuals.

Teams are classified and compete with other teams of similar capabilities and other handicaps are employed during the course of the league to keep competition on an even level. Typically during league, you may see all female teams, youth teams, family teams, work place teams, and friends all shooting together and competing with each other at their own capabilities.
